About Us
I, Christy Hansen am the wife of Ken Hansen who is a pipefitter/welder. Therefore I have the oppurtunity to stay home and raise our children full time along with training and breeding German Shepherds full time. VomHansen K9 is a 24 hour a day, 365 day a year commitment. We are very passionate about it and would not want it any other way.
We truly put our whole self into raising and breeding the best German Shepherds we can. We really love watching our pups grow and working with them to bring up stable-minded, confident, gorgeous dogs. We are very firm believers in breeding only quality dogs. VomHansen K9 is very, very serious when it comes to our dogs. We really believe that when we have a litter of puppies that its our responsiblity to build and encourage strong, confident minds and great tempermants so when they go to their new homes they are ready for anything and have high self-esteem and stable temperments. We believe that raising stable-minded, happy pups makes for very stable, confident working dogs. It takes more than just a pedigree, it takes a great pedigree and a great start in life and that is what we do here at VomHansen K9.

Here are a few pics of Branka, we just adore our new baby. I have seen hundreds of litters as I have looked for that perfect pup, and I can say for sure that we scored big with this one. She is the most confident and intelligent puppy I have ever had the pleasure of seeing...and I own her!!!! :) She has been sleeping all night for nearly a week now ( at 9 weeks old) She has an incredible full grip, and I have the puncture wounds to prove it. While we are really looking forward to her becoming part of our Service Dog Breeding Program, I can't help but think she and I will be on the Schutzhund field bringing in some high scores as well.
I was somewhat nervous about the whole purchasing long distance and shipping, but you made it a very easy process, and I would whole heartedly recommend you to anyone that wants a REAL working line GSD.
Also attached are some pics of "Anika", Anika Vom Lieben Krieger, the pic from our first breeding of Dierk. She is the female that I would like to consider doing an AI breeding with one of your studs. She is on the database listed under her full name. While her mother is untitled, her father, our stud Dierk, is a certified, and full time working Service Dog. Her pedigree also sports many top West German Dogs, to include Karlo Vom Peko Haus, Afra Vom Stopenberger Land, 4XBSP, 2XWUSV Arec vom Bunsenkocher, Pike, Yoschy, Troll, Fero, and 2 time world police dog champion Itor Op De Hide, owned trained and handled by Bernhard Flinks. In her 5 gen. pedigree are 25 national and world championships. While she has some czeck blood on her mothers side, she is very strong west german, and I think that with her drives and temperment, she would be very complimentary to a high quality czeck male, particularly for sport, and as I am looking for the high inteligence needed for our service animals. I have a request for a hearing dog, and plan to train a pup out of my next litter for a young mother that is completely deaf with children that are not. I am very excited that we found you and your dogs, as I truly feel us joining with breeding and the addition of your lovely Branka to our pack we can make a great impact in the lives of physically challenged people.

Hi Christy, she is doing great, when we got to the house I took her inside where all the construction was going on and she didn't even flinch. There were so many people in the house and it seemed like that was right were she wanted to be! I called my good friend who is a breeder and I told her that I was so happy to have her and that I couldn't believe how well she was taking to everybody! She can't wait to meet her. She has done so well, I've taken her to the potty numerous of times and she has gone, she ate all her food, it just seems to good to be true! I never dreamed of finding a pup as nice as her, thank you for such a great companion. I'll talk to you tomorrow sometime!
